Turneffe Biodiversity: Belize Dolphins, Manatees and Biodiversity » Turneffe Atoll is the most biologically diverse and largest atoll in the Western Caribbean, supporting a number of endangered and endemic species. Ulithi Sea Turtles » Ulithi atoll is home to several "Turtle Islands", of which five are identified as significant green turtle nesting sites by the local people. There has not been a long-term study on marine turtles conducted in Yap, which has led to gaps in important information regarding the local green turtle population.
