Oceanic Society launches New Web Site

Today the Oceanic Society launched its new website, which will provide a new level of information and service to its members and the public.
Birgit Winning, Oceanic Society Executive Director, says "Our members and the public have been asking us to upgrade our website for quite a while, and we are pleased to now be able to do this".
Website visitors will find much more information on the various expeditions, conservation initiatives, research projects, and other activities than ever before. And visitors can now register for our expeditions, whale-watching tours, and purchase merchandise via our secure on-line service.
We welcome all to the new site, ask that you kick the tires and check us out, and let us know if you find anything amiss. We welcome your comments.
The website was designed and developed by GroundWind Communications and OakStand Community Web Development - a company based in Portland, Oregon and Cincinnati, Ohio.
The website is being hosted by Affordable Internet Services Online, a GREEN web hosting company that is 100% Solar powered.
