The Sea Safari VIII is a 24-passenger, 112-foot-long motored pinisi Buginese schooner that features twelve double or twin bed cabins. This mid-range liveaboard ship was designed and built specifically for snorkeling and scuba diving in Raja Ampat and offers a spacious and comfortable platform from which to explore Raja Ampat’s renowned coral reefs.
The Sea Safari VIII‘s cabins are air-conditioned and have complete en suite facilities. There are 4 cabins on the middle deck, which are available for an additional charge. Oceanic Society limits capacity aboard the Sea Safari VIII to 20 guests to assure comfort and provide a smoothly operating daily program. “Tenders” are used for getting to and from snorkel sites, and they have sturdy ladders to allow easy access in and out of the water.
The Sea Safari VIII‘s middle deck has a large dining and lounge area and a camera room with multiple stations. The upper deck has a comfortable lounge area with panoramic windows as well as some shaded outdoor seating, and there is an open sundeck above. These are excellent spaces to congregate and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
