Damai I

Home / Ships / Damai I

The Damai I is a boutique liveaboard ship that offers a high level of comfort for exploring Indonesia’s waters. It was built in South Sulawesi in 2009 by Pak Hadji Baso, one of the most respected master boat builders in the traditional Indonesian boat building community of Bira. Damai I has an overall length of 40 meters and a beam of over 8 meters at its widest point. It was built to an uncompromising standard and is fitted out with all the latest snorkeling and diving, navigation, and safety equipment to ensure an extremely high level of service.

The ship features three large deck areas for relaxing in sun or shade and enjoying rejuvenating massage and spa treatments. The below deck accommodation consists of 7 staterooms, with a choice of single cabins, twins, doubles or two spacious master cabins. With cabin sizes ranging from 18 sq meters / 194 sq feet for the single cabin to 40 sq meters / 430 sq feet for the master cabin, all are furnished with either queen- or king-sized beds, en-suite toilets, and showers.

There is a 4 snorkeler to 1 guide ratio on board the Damai I, and the ship carries two custom-designed high speed tender boats.
