The Damai I is a boutique liveaboard ship that offers a high level of comfort for exploring Indonesia’s waters. It was built in South Sulawesi in 2009 by Pak Hadji Baso, one of the most respected master boat builders in the traditional Indonesian boat-building community of Bira. Damai I is 40 meters long, with a beam of more than 8 meters at its widest point, and is fitted with modern snorkeling and diving, navigation, and safety equipment.

The ship features three large deck areas for relaxing in sun or shade, as well as massage and spa treatments. Below deck, seven staterooms offer a choice of single, twin, double, and spacious master cabins. Cabin sizes range from 18 m² / 194 ft² to 40 m² / 430 ft², and all feature en-suite bathrooms and queen- or king-sized beds.

With just 12 guests on most trips, Damai I maintains a 4:1 snorkeler-to-guide ratio and carries two custom-designed, high-speed tender boats.

Damai I has seven comfortable staterooms, including five Standard Cabins and two spacious Master Cabins. Standard Cabins can accommodate single travelers or two guests, with bed configurations varying by cabin.
