Held annually since 2022, the Global Ocean Cleanup is a behavior science-based campaign to fight ocean plastic pollution through online and offline action. Together with hundreds of partners worldwide, we are combining art, storytelling, and community-based action to tackle the plastic pollution crisis.
2026 Global Ocean Cleanup
The fifth annual Global Ocean Cleanup was hosted on June 13–14, 2026. 46 cleanups were held across 17 countries on five continents, covering more than 60 miles of coastline. Explore the full results.
