We are thrilled to announce the publication of the ninth annual volume of The State of the World’s Sea Turtles—SWOT Report.
SWOT Report is an annual publication created by a global network of sea turtle researchers and conservationists that aims to raise awareness about endangered sea turtles and motivate action for conservation.
The latest issue of SWOT Report highlights trends in sea turtle research and conservation and explores how we define success in a variety of contexts. Other articles discuss trends in innovation, emerging changes to sea turtle nesting distribution and habitat, and both challenges and solutions to increasing coastal development. The publication also features a map and figures that show how the SWOT database of sea turtle biogeography has grown over the past ten years using the leatherback sea turtle’s global distribution as an example.
