New and Updated Expeditions in 2020-2021
1. Solomon Islands: Snorkeling by Liveaboard
Discover one of the Coral Triangle’s hidden gems on this liveaboard expedition that combines daily snorkeling and whale watching in the remote Solomon Islands. Join one of two expedition legs or do them both back-to-back! Learn more.
2. Cuba: Snorkeling Gardens of the Queen (last chance!)
It’s the last chance for the foreseeable future to snorkel the fabled Gardens of the Queen (Jardines de la Reina), home to Cuba’s best snorkeling and the most pristine reefs in the entire Caribbean. Learn more about this unique liveaboard trip.
3. Micronesia: Ulithi, Yap, and Palau
Join this regional snorkeling adventure to explore Micronesia’s breathtaking coral reefs and idyllic islands and learn about vibrant local cultures. After a brief hiatus, we are excited to offer this expedition again in 2021. Learn more.
4. Baja: Whale Sharks & Snorkeling in the Sea of Cortez (new itinerary!)
Snorkel with giant whale sharks and playful sea lions in the Sea of Cortez and visit fish-rich Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park. Baja California’s magnificent marine wildlife is just a short flight away from the U.S. Learn more.
5. Trinidad: Land of the Leatherbacks (new volunteer vacation!)
Walk the beaches of Trinidad as you assist with sea turtle research and enjoy close encounters with the world’s largest turtles during their peak nesting season. Trinidad is home to the world’s densest colony of leatherback turtles, making it one of the best places to see and experience sea turtle nesting. Learn more.
6. Indonesia: Halmahera to Sulawesi (all new expedition!)
Hop aboard a boutique Indonesian liveaboard for this unique and rarely offered itinerary in the biogeographic region of Wallacea, beginning near the “Spice Island” of Halmahera and traveling to Sulawesi, Indonesia. Halmahera has some of the best hard coral gardens in Indonesia and is still being explored – be among the first to snorkel its reefs! Learn more.
7. Plastic Free Raja Ampat with Plastic Pollution Coalition (special one time trip!)
Join this one-of-a-kind volunteer expedition to explore the globally important issue of plastic pollution in the heart of the Coral Triangle region. Our expedition combines the chance to explore Raja Ampat’s world-famous reefs with opportunities to learn first-hand about plastic pollution from some of the world’s experts. Learn more.
